Jade Delfin graduated from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2011. Ms. Delfin received Bachelor of Science Degrees in Special Education and Elementary Education in 2005, with a certification in Teaching English Speakers of Other Languages. She also earned a Master of Arts Degree in Special Education from the University of New Mexico, with specializations in severe and multiple disabilities and social justice. Before switching to law, Ms. Delfin taught Special Education, English Language Learners and Elementary Education. During law school, Ms. Delfin served as Student Bar Association Secretary, AARP/VITA Certified Tax Preparation Volunteer, Tax Law Club Secretary, and Phi Alpha Delta Secretary.

 

Prior to joining Robles, Rael & Anaya, P.C., Ms. Delfin worked in commercial litigation, specializing in creditors’ rights. Ms. Delfin has represented national corporations in New Mexico State District Court, Bernalillo Metro Court, U.S. Bankruptcy Court for New Mexico, and tribal court. Ms. Delfin also has experience in residential real property, probate, trustee and conservatorships, child welfare, and school law.
