Daniel J. Macke has spent more than a decade defending public and private clients against numerous liability claims, including employment law matters, civil rights, premises liability, and construction defects. Mr. Macke has extensive experience defending clients against allegations of employment discrimination, breach of contract, wage and hour issues, police misconduct, prisoner rights issues, and public official liability.

Mr. Macke brings extensive experience in employment law matters to the firm’s resume. He has represented clients in employment and personnel matters before numerous state and federal courts and agencies. He has negotiated high level employment contracts on behalf of governing bodies and officials. Mr. Macke has designed training sessions and instructed agencies on discrimination in the workplace and wage and hour issues. Mr. Macke also serves as an independent hearing officer for entities required to provide hearings in the course of employment-related decision-making.

Mr. Macke is committed to the betterment of the community, including currently serving as President of the Metropolitan Homelessness Project. Through his leadership, the organization continues to make great strides in bringing an end to homelessness. Mr. Macke also serves as a volunteer attorney for the homeless legal clinic. He is an auto racing enthusiast and enjoys spending time with his family.
